How We Create a Safe and Secure Environment For Our Residents & Visitors

NEW

Here at Athena Healthcare Group, one of our top priorities is the safety and security of our residents in our care homes. We understand that our residents may have different needs and vulnerabilities. We take a comprehensive approach to ensure that we provide a safe and secure environment for everyone.

Security

We have a secure entrance and exit system in place to prevent unauthorised access to our care homes. In addition, visitors must sign in at the front desk before they are granted access; PPE is also available before entering the care homes.

Policies and Procedures

In addition to physical security measures, we also have policies and procedures in place to prevent incidents of abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation. Our staff are trained to recognise signs of abuse and are required to report any suspected incidents immediately. We also have an open-door policy, which encourages residents and their families to communicate with us if they have any concerns or complaints.

Social Activities

We encourage our residents to participate in activities and social events. Which not only promotes their physical and mental well-being but also helps to create a sense of community and belonging. We have a full-time activities coordinator who plans a variety of activities and events!

In conclusion, creating a safe and secure environment for our residents is a top priority in our care home. Our comprehensive approach focuses on physical security, preventing abuse and neglect, considering dietary and medical needs, and promoting social well-being.
